The eleventh edition contains many additions and revisions. It covers major developments in the theory and practice of human resource management in the last three years. There are new chapters on the impact of HRM, corporate social responsibility, high performance work systems, employee engagement, change management, resourcing strategy and practice and employee wellbeing. Significant changes and improvements have been made to most of the other chapters. The design of the book has been radically updated with the aim of providing a text which encourages and facilitates better learning. Chapters contain key concepts and terms, learning outcomes, key learning points, questions and further reading allowing students to recap, reflect and test their learning.
