Summary and Info
Completed shortly before his death in 1989, this dictionary was envisioned by C. primarily as a companion volume to his Cocopa Texts (UCPL 100, 1983). It was also to some extent a by-product of the comparative Yuman dictionary project, funded by NSF and directed by Margaret Langdon. Either as a humanistic document or as a contribution to Yuman lexicography, this is a major work.
