More About the Author
Parveen June Kumar, CBE (born 1 June 1942), is a British doctor who served as President of the British Medical Association in 2006, and of the Royal Society of Medicine from 2010 to 2012. Outside of the BMA and RSM, she has written Clinical Medicine, a standard medical textbook, held roles with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence and the Medicines Commission UK.
