Summary and Info
I first saw Huey Johnson speak in Sept. 2008 at the LongNow Foundation and then at Bioneers in October 2008. Hearing his LongNow.org talk (available on Fora.tv) made me want more information. This book documents the way in which a few enlightened countries (the Netherlands, New Zealand) have made great strides in reversing environmental decline over 20 years of smart regulation, the result of exercising admirable political will to change. The book is brief and to the point - a very good introduction to interesting material not well known but visionary in its view. Highly recommended.
