Alex Somers (born 7 March 1984) is an American visual artist and musician from Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently living in Reykjavík, Iceland with his long-time boyfriend, Jón "Jónsi" Þór Birgisson, the vocalist and guitar player for the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós.
