This collection is based on a lecture series organized jointly by Matrix Chambers and the Wiener Library in London between April and June 2002. Philippe Sands, QC (born 17 October 1960) is a Franco-British lawyer at Matrix Chambers, and Professor of Laws and Director of the Centre on International Courts and Tribunals at University College London.
