Anesthesia and the Central Nervous System is a textbook for a postgraduate course as well as a reference for all anesthesiologists which presents many of the latest concepts in anesthesiology within a brief formal presentation. An outstanding faculty presents topics relating to the biochemistry, physiology, and pharmacology of the nervous system, the anesthetic management of intracranial and spinal cord surgery, and the intensive care management of central nervous system disease. Each chapter is a brief but sharply focused glimpse of the interests in anesthesia.
